Burgas Film Lab
In 2018 I became a part of the educational program Burgas Film Lab. It is a Bulgaria based educational program that aims to teach the craft of filmmaking to young people through practical experience. Being part of it, I had the amazing opportunity to work with professionals from the field in creating short films.
WATER - Contemporary Art Festival
In 2019 I volunteered as a photographer and videographer at the WATER festival for contemporary art. I had to capture the performances and the art installations which took place in an empty pool. Thus, I gained experience in set design, filming in unconventional locations and low lighting, since the festival took place in almost complete darkness.
London Screenwriters' Festival 2021
The festival took part during the entire month of February. I learned so many useful insights from there - such as how to break into the industry, as well as the current trends in the film market. Additionally, I had the chance to be in the seminars of people like Paul Hirsch, Eric Kripke, Gary Goldstein and Christopher Lockhart.

Meeting with
Bruce Webb
In early 2022 the director and producer Bruce Webb visited my university.
His inspirational talk gave important insights on the producing side of film and the difference a good producer makes over the whole project. Another important lesson was how to deal with failures and to learn from your mistakes. The experience was truly humbling and eye-opening.
Meeting with
Elliot Grove
Elliott Grove, who founded the Raindance Film Festival and The British Independent Film Awards, gave a talk in my university in early 2021. It was fascinating hearing the people whom he had an effect on throughout his career. His tips on entering film festivals and the purpose of them in the industry was incredibly insightful and will certainly stick with me throughout my career.
